An IPPL card entitles the cardholders to all services provided by library including programs, classes, reserves, interlibrary loans, and computer reservations. The card may be used to check out materials at most libraries in Illinois. If you own property in the district, but do not live in the district, you are still entitled to a library card, even if you don't live there. If your business (including municipalities, schools, churches) is located in the district, you can get a one-year business card. If you or your business are outside the IPPL district and are not served by a public library, you may purchase a nonresident, one-year library membership for $208. This annual fee is recalculated each July. Questions? Please contact the library or visit our FAQ page. If Your Card is Lost
