Parents
The Kids and Teens department offers a variety of materials for children and teens from birth to high school and their teachers and caregivers. We have popular adult books and magazines available in the department as well as daily newspapers to read while you are here.
Our family center offers a variety of games and activities for your child to practice early literacy skills including 2 peek a book readers, computers with access to online learning games, and iPads loaded with early literacy apps for use within the department with an IPPL card.
We have lots of options for computer and Internet access. Use our Wi-Fi throughout the department. We have computers with Internet access and Microsoft Office products for kids, teens, and adults with children. Plus, laptops are available for checkout with an IPPL card for teens in grades 7-12 and adults in the department with children. Our group study room is available for groups of two or more, and can be reserved in advance with an IPPL card for up to two hours.
