Our elevator is getting replaced!
The library’s nearly 30-year-old elevator is being replaced and upgraded, with work beginning in late November and expected to last for 10-12 weeks.

No 2nd floor elevator access during this time.
During this period, there is no elevator access to the library's second floor. The only way to get the second floor is to use the stairs.
Need items from the second floor? We got you.
If you need materials from the second floor and are unable to use the stairs, library staff are happy to help retrieve items for you. Visit the Guest Services Desk for assistance.
Return materials to the second floor.
Help us return materials to the second floor by placing them in a bin at the top of the stairs. If you need assistance or aren't sure where items belong, return them to the first-floor bins as usual.
Conference Room 201 is unavailable for booking.
We are using Conference Room 201 as a staff workroom for the duration of the project to check in second floor materials. It is unavailable for public booking during this time.
Stroller parking is available on the first floor.
We encourage you to leave strollers at home, but there is a limited amount of unattended stroller parking on the first floor. For safety reasons, strollers are not allowed on the staircase.
Baby Brilliance Storytime is on the road.
We have partnered with the Village of Willowbrook to host the Baby Brilliance storytime. It's a short drive away from IPPL.
